We want you to be delighted with your order. Because almost everything we make is custom-branded and produced to order for you, this policy explains exactly when a return, replacement or refund applies. It sits alongside your rights under the South African Consumer Protection Act (CPA), which are not limited by anything below.
Custom-branded & made-to-order items. Products are decorated with your artwork, logo or personalisation and manufactured specifically for you. As they cannot be resold, we do not accept returns or refunds for change of mind, incorrect sizes/quantities you selected, or artwork you approved before production. Please check your proof and order details carefully before approving.
We gladly replace, reprint or refund items that are:
Please inspect your order on delivery and notify us of any defect, damage or error within 7 business days of receiving it. For latent defects not reasonably visible on delivery, the CPA's statutory periods apply.
Email orders@orikistudio.com with your order number, a description of the issue, and clear photos of the item and the fault. Our team will review and respond, usually within 2 business days, with next steps and a return authorisation where applicable.
Please do not send items back before we've authorised the return.
For an approved claim we will, at our discretion and your preference where practical: reprint or replace the affected items, or issue a refund. Where only part of an order is affected, the remedy applies to that portion.
We offer exchanges for defective, damaged or incorrect items — typically as a like-for-like replacement of the same product and branding. We do not exchange correctly-produced custom items for a different product.
Where the return is due to a defect, transit damage or our error, Oríki Studio covers the return shipping cost and the cost of the replacement. We will arrange collection or provide return instructions.
Approved refunds are made to your original payment method. Once the refund is processed we'll confirm by email; please allow up to 10 business days for it to reflect, depending on your bank or payment provider.
This policy does not limit your rights under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008.
